No-Knead Nutella and Roasted Hazelnut Challah

I found a recipe a few weeks ago that I had to share! I made it for some friends and then for a church fellowship...in fact, I am eating some of it right now!!! Yes, this recipe has quickly become a favorite around these parts!!

The coolest part about this recipe is that you can make the dough and leave it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks!!! So I make it and pull out a chunk of dough whenever I want some bread and the dough just keeps rising in the fridge till you are ready for it!

Oh, and one trick I found is that if you are planning on letting the dough sit for a few days, you can actually put in less yeast than what it calls for and it will still rise up and taste just as good.

Here is a link for the recipe. The link only has a few recipes that you can make with this dough (I tried the Caramel Cinnamon Rolls, too....super good!!), but it gives you the name of the book you can buy for more recipes. This will definitely be my next recipe book purchase!! Happy baking!
Hungry yet?!!

I found this on a friend's blog and had to share!

New Look!

My blog has been given a facelift!! Many thanks to Allison Telfer with Mission Field Designs. She does a great job with her templates! Life has been busy for us lately. One main thing we have had to work on is,... Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork!! This has included many trips to Madrid, a total of 10 hours each time, plus 40 euros ($61.60) in tolls each time!! Aaaah!! The euro/dollar exchange is a killer over here! But, we do have good news to report! After all the above mentioned trips to Madrid, not only do we now have a list of hotels to recommend to anyone in the mood for visiting Madrid, as well as the ability to identify just about any governmental building in Madrid...(I believe we have been to them all!) we finally met THE lady who has had my paperwork, as well as Aaron's, sitting in her office since June of last year! I will spare you the details of why she still hadn't processed our visas, because not only are they boring, but they really make no sense! The good news is that after meeting with this lady, we finally have had our paperwork processed and within about a month, we will be making a trip to the U.S. to pick up our visas in Miami. Jeff's visa has finally been processed as well and by the middle of May, they are promising to have his residence papers processed as well. We can finally say, after over a year of working on paperwork, that we are finally beginning to see the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel!! This has taught me many lessons on trusting, trusting, trusting in the Lord!! If I could only learn it and never forget it!! Here are a few recent pictures of a town (Lastres) we visited two weeks ago. We were putting some tracts and invitations to church in each mailbox in the town. It was such a beautiful day and a neat little town as well!! Enjoy the pics!
I wish this would show up better, but here is a wide angle view of the coastline in Lastres. It is definitely one of those....wish you could be here...moments!

Whoever said that a picture is worth 1,000 words, must have meant something like this. If I just told you that it is common here in Spain to hang their clothes out to dry, you might think that was interesting information. But if you see this picture and then have me tell you that this was hanging outside the main door to an apartment building, THEN, you may get a better idea of what I meant!

Aaron loves helping us out with getting tracks in the mailboxes. We really enjoyed this town. It was a LOT of walking, but so beautiful!
